MCSR’s computational and personnel resources enable Mississippi researchers to conduct research spanning a variety of scientific disciplines. MCSR provides free accounts and computational cycles for the research use of faculty, staff and students at all of Mississippi’s public universities. Our resources and support empower Mississippi universities to garner research money which funds graduate students and equipment.

Generally speaking, HPC jobs run on a first-come, first-serve basis, though smaller jobs often run before large jobs, as large jobs will need to wait for resources to become available.

In return for our services, all we ask is that researchers keep us apprised of grant-funded research projects that are using our resources. We solicit information on new projects via email each June.
